Gajar ka Halwa

Directions

Step 1 :
Heat a pan, add 3/4th cup of ghee to the pan & add 4 cups of shredded carrots. Cook it well on medium to high flame until carrot starts to shrink.

Step 2 :
Add 3/4 cup of sugar and mix well.

Step 3 :
Once all the moisture is reduced from the mixture add 2 tbsp of ghee into the pan.

Step 4 :
Add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.

Step 5 :
Add 1/2 cup of milk and mix it well.

Step 6 :
Once milk is reduced and the halwa is completely cooked switch off the gas.

Step 7 :
Add finely chopped pistachios, almonds cashews & khoya into the halwa and mix well. Gajar ka halwa is ready to be served.
